Scott’s been steeped in the coffee world for over 15 years. He started out behind the machine as a barista, worked his way up through multi-site management, and eventually took the plunge into the big leagues – training baristas for a global coffee brand. Over a decade there saw him rise to Training Manager, followed by a stint in brand management and leading a coffee development program for another company.

Along the way, Scott earned his SCA Coffee Diploma, mastering everything from barista skills to brewing and green coffee. As an authorised SCA AST Trainer, he’s taught hundreds of budding baristas nationwide, even coaching and competing in SCA coffee championships – including a highlight reel moment as 2nd place winner in the Coffee in Good Spirits competition (2017).

Scott’s passion for coffee training comes from knowing just how many hands (and hearts) a great cup of coffee passes through. He believes all that effort deserves recognition, and that the right brew, paired with genuine service, can turn someone’s day right around.
